PRESS RELEASE — QDNL Participations, the global VC fund focused on emerging quantum technology startups, is expanding its team as it leans into the global scope of its new fund.
Nicola Weiroster has joined the firm as an Associate on the investment team. He previously spent three years as a Junior Investment Manager at Austrian deep tech venture fund Onsight Ventures, where he focused on early-stage investments across Europe. He previously co-founded Dutch-Austrian space startup Team Tumbleweed.
Nicola joins a team at QDNL Participations that includes the likes of quantum computing pioneer Chad Rigetti, founder of Rigetti Computing, who serves as a Venture Partner.

The firm was initially established to accelerate the thriving Dutch quantum technology ecosystem with a €15 million fund. That fund has invested in nine of the Netherlands’ most high-potential quantum startups, including Qblox, QuantWare, QphoX and Q*Bird.
