PRESS RELEASE — LFI, the world’s first industrial quantum management firm, today announced the appointment of The Hon. Arthur Sinodinos AO to its Board of Advisors, effective May 19, 2026. The appointment brings to LFI one of the most experienced figures in Australia’s modern diplomatic, economic, and innovation policy history, and one whose career sits at the precise intersection of national security, industrial technology and the US-Australia strategic alliance that shapes the quantum technology landscape today.

Ambassador Sinodinos most recently served as Australian Ambassador to the United States, where he was closely involved in Australia’s negotiations related to AUKUS, the Quad, and the Indo-Pacific Economic Framework. Those three frameworks collectively define the strategic architecture within which quantum technology investment, export controls and industrial security policy are being determined across the Indo-Pacific. For LFI’s clients in aerospace and defense, advanced manufacturing and energy (sectors where quantum governance intersects directly with national security obligations) Ambassador Sinodinos’s fluency in that architecture is without peer.

He brings a wealth of public and private sector experience spanning national security, industry innovation, economic policy and banking. He previously served as Australia’s Minister for Industry, Innovation and Science and represented New South Wales in the Australian Parliament as a Senator from 2011 to 2019. Following the election of Prime Minister John Howard in 1996, he was appointed Senior Economic Adviser and subsequently served for nine years as the Prime Minister’s Chief of Staff. He is also the recipient of an Honorary Doctor of Business from the University of Sydney, conferred in recognition of his outstanding contribution in the fields of politics, public policy, and diplomacy.

For industrial manufacturers evaluating LFI as their quantum governance partner, Ambassador Sinodinos’s appointment provides a direct signal: this is a firm whose advisory board operates at the highest levels of government, diplomacy, and industrial policy. For investors, it signals something equally important, that LFI is attracting the kind of institutional credibility typically associated with companies well beyond their current stage, reflecting the strength of LFI’s proprietary Quantum Value Stages™ commercial architecture and the accelerating demand for vendor-independent quantum leadership across global industrial markets.

“Arthur’s career has been built on exactly the kind of economics-first thinking that defines LFI’s approach to quantum,” said Shayne De la Force, Managing Partner and Chief Executive Officer of LFI. “He has navigated the most complex intersections of technology, national security and industrial policy at the highest levels of government and diplomacy. His judgment on where quantum governance fits within that landscape and what it means for manufacturers who sit inside defense supply chains, is invaluable. We are honored to have him on our Board of Advisors.”

Ambassador Sinodinos began his career at the University of Newcastle, where he completed a Bachelor of Commerce with Honours, which is the same city that serves as the headquarters of LFI Asia Pacific Pty Ltd. That shared Newcastle foundation carries particular meaning for LFI’s Asia Pacific mission and its commitment to building quantum governance capability in regional industrial markets worldwide.

Ambassador Sinodinos’s advisory mandate will span LFI’s strategic development across the US-Australia defense and industrial technology corridor, government and regulatory engagement and investor positioning, with specific emphasis on the quantum security implications of AUKUS and the Indo-Pacific Economic Framework for manufacturers operating within sovereign defense supply chains.

“Australia and the United States are making the most significant industrial technology investments of a generation, and the industrial organizations caught inside those supply chains face decisions that will define their economics for decades. What strikes me about LFI is that they start with the economics, not the technology. That is exactly the right order of operations, and it is rare. I look forward to contributing to the firm’s growth across both markets.”

As a proud member of the Quantum Economic Development Consortium (QED-C), LFI brings institutional credibility and network reach to every advisory engagement it conducts on behalf of industrial clients. Ambassador Sinodinos’s appointment further deepens that standing at the intersection of quantum technology, national security and industrial economics.

LFI is actively expanding its Board of Advisors and deepening its engagement across North America, the Asia Pacific and Europe as industrial demand for structured quantum governance accelerates. Ambassador Sinodinos’s appointment reflects LFI’s deliberate strategy of building advisory capacity at the intersection of quantum science, geopolitics, and executive leadership, ensuring that clients have access to the highest level of global expertise as they navigate the Quantum Value Stages™.
