PRESS RELEASE — Today, the Illinois Quantum and Microelectronics Park (IQMP) announced Oscar Bedolla as its new Chief Strategy Officer, a key leadership role supporting the Park’s long-term growth, partnerships and management. In this role, Bedolla will help streamline project execution and align public and private sector stakeholders to advance the IQMP’s vision and deliver real economic benefit in South Chicago, the city and the state.

Bedolla brings more than 20 years of experience across community engagement, economic development, technology, infrastructure and public sector organizations to the IQMP. Most recently, he served as Head of Insights, Performance, Analytics and Technology (IPAT) for Amazon International Corporate Finance, where he oversaw strategic planning and program execution across a $7 billion global portfolio. Prior to Amazon, he was a Director at KPMG’s Deal Advisory and Strategy Consulting practice and previously served as Director of Economic and Community Development for the City of Cincinnati, where he helped structure public-private partnerships and drive major investment.

The IQMP, which broke ground in Fall 2025, is a 128-acre development that provides infrastructure and resources to support the development and commercialization of quantum technologies, hardware, software, and applications.
