Insider Brief

  • Anderon has released its first superconducting quantum Process Design Kit (PDK), providing design components for quantum devices and circuits on its 300mm wafer fabrication platform.
  • The PDK includes components for qubits, signal routing, amplifiers and filters, alongside a reference design for coherence validation and electromagnetic parameters for simulation.
  • Anderon is offering early access through a license agreement, aiming to help developers prepare superconducting quantum designs for fabrication.

Anderon has released its first Superconducting Quantum Process Design Kit (PDK), the company said in a blog post.

According to Anderon, the kit is meant to give quantum device and circuit developers a more efficient, standardized way to work. The company said it supplies designers with the basic building blocks for manufacturable designs on its 300mm wafer fabrication platform.

Anderon tied the release to the growth of the quantum computing ecosystem. As that ecosystem scales, the post says, comprehensive design infrastructure matters as much as access to advanced process technology.

The blog post states that the PDK covers Anderon’s full portfolio of 300mm wafer offerings, which it lists as:

  • Qubits for quantum information processing
  • I/O components for signal routing and device connectivity
  • Amplifiers and filters for high-fidelity quantum control and readout

The kit also contains a reference design for baseline coherence validation, along with electromagnetic parameters for simulation. Anderon said the PDK is intended to narrow the gap between device innovation and scalable manufacturing, so developers can take quantum designs to fabrication more efficiently.

Anderon is offering early access to its first-generation PDK. The company described this as a milestone in its commitment to building infrastructure for the next era of superconducting quantum computing.

Access is available through a license agreement. Interested parties can contact the Anderon team at [email protected].
