PRESS RELEASE — Aliro, The Quantum Networking Company® announced a groundbreaking milestone, supporting over 50 quantum network devices with its software stack to advance entanglement-based quantum networks. This achievement marks a pivotal step toward scalable quantum internet and ultra-secure communications, positioning Aliro as a leader in the rapidly growing quantum ecosystem.

Aliro’s vendor-agnostic software, developed over six years, now supports a diverse array of cutting-edge quantum devices for both free-space and fiber connectivity. This flexibility powers scalable, multi-vendor quantum networks, allowing organizations—spanning telecom, utilities, banks, and aerospace —to seamlessly integrate hardware from any interoperable vendors, preventing vendor lock-in and accelerating global adoption. Aliro’s simulation and validation tools further empower customers to design and test quantum networks and next-generation prototypes before deployment, dramatically reducing costs, risks, and network deployment timelines.

“Aliro’s support for our multi-channel superconducting nanowire single-photon detectors (SNSPDs) marks a significant step forward in operationalizing quantum networks. As the 50th device integrated into their platform, this collaboration underscores the growing maturity of quantum technologies and enables more efficient, secure communication through quantum entanglement. At Single Quantum, we’re thrilled to partner with Aliro to push the boundaries of photon detection, bringing unprecedented sensitivity and performance to real-world applications in science and industry,” said Dr. Sander Dorenbos, CEO & Co-Founder, Single Quantum.

AliroNet®, the company’s flagship product suite, powers applications like Quantum Secure Communications (QSC), quantum computer networking, and satellite connectivity. Its entanglement-based key generation capabilities interoperate with Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC) for end-to-end secure networks, leveraging both free-space and fiber connectivity for a range of topologies supporting multivendor environments. AliroNet® Quickstart, a turnkey full-stack network solution, is now live in its first deployment, performing entanglement distribution, error correction, eavesdropper detection, and BBM92 key generation, all managed by Aliro Orchestrator and controlled by AlirOS—bringing together the world’s first carrier-class, multitenant software-defined quantum network stack.

“Aliro is making quantum networks a reality by providing the software backbone for the industry,” said Jim Ricotta, President and CEO of Aliro. “Supporting over 50 devices isn’t just a win for us—it’s proof the quantum networking sector is maturing fast. Our platform enables secure, scalable networks for the future, from quantum internet to advanced cybersecurity, with unmatched interoperability across vendors.”
