Berkhemer Clayton, a retained Executive Search firm in business for 28 years, announces the launch of Psirch — the first dedicated division of an established firm for Quantum Technology Executive Search
PRESS RELEASE — Los Angeles, Ca., August 4, 2022 — Berkhemer Clayton, a retained executive search firm, which for 28 years has serviced client corporations across the United States, Asia, and Latin America, including Fortune 500 companies, private multinationals, and large research and Ivy League Universities, today announced that it has launched a standalone division dedicated to servicing the quantum technology industry, its strategic partners, and companies seeking early adoption of Quantum. The new division is named: “Psirch”, and will be managed by the firm’s corporate lead, Shai Phillips, who is now President of the company’s quantum technology arm.
“The launch of our quantum division comes at exactly the right time, as the rapidly increasing rate of commercialization, and the achievement of key milestones in development, will mean executive search services in this space are to become ever more needed as time goes by,” commented Phillips. “We are early, but not too early, and the more we hear from the quantum community, the more we understand that the talent pipeline of tomorrow’s quantum leaders is constrained, and thus one of the most crucial bottlenecks threatening progress in the industry.”
With its new division, Berkhemer Clayton also aims to be a positive force for the “Women in Quantum” movement, which has already gained considerable momentum. Influenced by the 1992 LA riots, Berkhemer Clayton was formed with the mission of Diversity & Inclusion, extending this with a special focus on advancing women to seats on corporate boards of directors, under its CEO, Betsy Berkhemer-Credaire. This is especially relevant as corporate boards will soon need quantum expertise at the governance level. A published author, public speaker, and National CEO of 50/50 Women on Boards, Ms. Berkhemer-Credaire, was instrumental in the legislation of SB826, which requires women on public company boards in CA. With this unique experience and expertise, the company expects to play a key role in supporting the Women in Quantum agenda.
“We are delighted to be the first established firm in our industry to launch a dedicated quantum division,” stated Berkhemer-Credaire, “and we are proud to add value to the quantum community.”
