The Quantum Enigmas video series created and produced by Institut quantique (IQ) uses classic enigmas and shows how to solve these using a quantum computer. Even though there is no quantum advantage in the first few videos, the series introduces the basic concepts of quantum computing and uses the logic of quantum gates. The Quantum Enigmas is meant as an inspiring quantum educational tool for college and university students with an interest in science.
The first introduction video presents the fundamental principals – including the qubit, quantum entanglement, state superposition and quantum logic gates – which are required to solve each enigma in the series.
