PRESS RELEASE — QuantumBasel, the center of competence for quantum computing and AI, will host the Quantum Industry Day on September 23, 2024 at uptownBasel, the international competence center for Industry 4.0 in Arlesheim, near Basel. This event aims to bridge the gap between academic research and industrial development, accelerating the growth of quantum technology products and solutions for real-world applications.

The organizing team consisting of IDQ, IBM Research, NCCR Spin, Euresearch, CSEM, Zurich Instruments, Quantum Center ETH Zurich, Innosuisse, and Enterprise Europe Network, in partnership with EPFL, Swissmem, and the Swiss Quantum Initiative, has selected QuantumBasel at uptownBasel as the hosts for this year’s Quantum Industry Day in Switzerland. The day will feature inspiring keynotes, expert panel discussions and valuable networking opportunities, bringing together leading minds from academia and industry. With more than 400 registered attendees, it will be one of the year’s biggest event of the Swiss Quantum industry.
