Insider Brief
- Bloq Quantum launched a drag-and-drop quantum computing platform designed to help companies and universities build and deploy quantum programs more quickly using real-world data.
- The platform integrates multiple quantum software development kits and hardware systems into a single visual workspace aimed at reducing the manual setup and compatibility issues that often slow quantum research and development.
- Bloq Quantum said the platform can reduce the time required to configure and test quantum programs from days to minutes, with early access currently focused on universities and corporate research teams.
PRESS RELEASE — Bloq Quantum, a startup founded by a team of IISER and U of T Alumni, today announced the official launch of its drag-and-drop quantum computing platform. The platform helps companies and universities build and use quantum programs 10x faster than traditional methods.
Solving the Problem of Using Real Data
Quantum computing is currently very difficult for most organizations to start using. While simple experiments work well in controlled settings, using those same programs with real-world data is often a slow and difficult manual process. These technical delays caused by a mix of different software tools and hardware that do not work together usually take up most of a quantum team’s time. This makes it hard to move from ideas to real-world business use.
“By moving away from complex coding to a single visual tool, we are making quantum computing something that businesses can use today, rather than a distant future goal,” said Sreekuttan, Co-Founder & CEO of Bloq Quantum.

Organizing the Quantum Workspace
The Bloq Quantum platform acts as a central hub for the various tools used in the industry. By providing a visual interface, it handles the technical busywork that typically takes up 80% of a researcher’s time.
Key Features of the Bloq Quantum Platform:
- Visual Drag-and-Drop Workspace: An easy-to-use environment that removes the need for manual technical setup.
- All-in-One Integration: Connects different SDKs and various types of quantum hardware in one place.
- Real-World Data: Build quantum solutions on top of your data.
- 10x Faster Results: Reduces the time needed to set up and test quantum programs from days to just a few minutes.
Priority Access for Organizations
To help bring quantum computing to the real world, Bloq Quantum is currently giving priority to Universities and Corporate Research Teams. These partners will get extra help connecting quantum to their existing data systems.
For Individual Researchers: Full access for individuals is expected in the coming months. For now, a small waitlist is open. The company is approving early access for researchers with interesting projects every week through the contact form on their website.
