Kasra Nowrouzi has joined QuNorth as chief technology officer as the company prepares to deploy and operate its Level 2 quantum computer in Copenhagen, according to source. He holds a PhD in Applied Physics and has expertise in full-stack quantum computing architecture.
Kasra’s main expertise lie in designing, integrating, and operating complete quantum systems, which QuNorth described as foundational to its work on Magne in the Nordics. Throughout Kasra’s career, he has led multidisciplinary teams working across hardware, control systems, and algorithms, driving hardware and software co-design.
He has built quantum platforms at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory and operated them in collaborative research environments. The company added that he translated experimental insights into technical upgrades and architectural improvements.
