PRESS RELEASE — QUDORA, a leading trapped-ion quantum computing company, today announced a strategic partnership with Seoul-based Norma Inc. to accelerate trapped-ion quantum computing adoption across South Korea’s quantum eco-system, includingacademia, government, and enterprise sectors.
The partnership agreement, signed in September 2025, establishes a comprehensive market development framework designed to drive ecosystem expansion for QUDORA’s trapped-ion quantum computing systems throughout Korea. This strategic partnership emphasizes joint market development through educational programs, government and customers engagement, and R&D initiatives. The partnership will deliver quantum education and technology adoption programs through joint seminars, exhibitions, and technical workshops while identifying strategic opportunities within Korea’s national R&D initiatives and public procurement processes.
The alliance targets Korea’s rapidly expanding quantum technology market, supported by the government’s K-Digital New Deal initiatives and significant investments in quantum research infrastructure. Key opportunities include Korea’s world-leading semiconductor and electronics industries, advanced manufacturing sectors, and the country’s network of prestigious research institutions.

“Following our successful partnership launch in Taiwan’s semiconductor ecosystem, Korea represents an important milestone in our strategic expansion to Asia,” said Amado Bautista-Salvador, CEO of QUDORA Technologies GmbH. “Our collaboration with Norma Inc. emphasizes joint market development and educational initiatives, perfectly complementing our regional expansion strategy and aligning with Korea’s collaborative approach to quantum technology advancement.”
The partnership marks a significant milestone in European-Asian quantum technology collaboration, bringing together German quantum innovation with Korean market expertise and industrial leadership. This partnership positions both companies to capitalize on Korea’s growing quantum technology investments, particularly in areas where the country’s industrial strengths in semiconductors, advanced manufacturing, and automotive sectors intersect with quantum computing capabilities.
The collaboration represents QUDORA’s continued expansion across Asia-Pacific markets, building on the company’s recent strategic partnership with Kensho in Taiwan announced in September 2025. This Korean partnership further focuses on establishing a comprehensive regional presence across Northeast Asia’s key quantum technology markets. Through this partnership, QUDORA and Norma Inc. will work closely with Korean research institutions, government agencies, and major conglomerates to integrate quantum technologies into existing innovation ecosystems.
