PRESS RELEASE — Quantum computing software specialist Orientum (CEO Alfred Bang) and AI-based 3D sensing solution specialist Deep In Sight (CEO Oh Eun-song) announced on the 20th that they have signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) for the development of a 3D spatial information-based quantum AI model to maximize its use in the defense sector.
Through this agreement, the two companies have set the following as key areas of cooperation: ▲development of next-generation analysis models that combine quantum algorithms and AI algorithms; ▲joint research and commercialization of machine learning algorithms based on quantum computers; and ▲joint development of a platform that integrates the technologies of both companies. The two companies plan to maximize technological synergies.
ORIENTOM, which specializes in quantum computing, is responsible for developing technologies related to quantum platforms, such as quantum algorithms, quantum financial services, and quantum defense algorithms. Deep Insight plans to increase the practical problem-solving and application potential in the defense field through optimization solutions based on AI, machine learning, and data analysis.

This collaboration is expected to lay the groundwork for advanced AI model development not only in defense, but also across industries requiring high-dimensional decision-making and complex data analysis, such as finance and smart cities, where quantum computing is becoming essential.
DEEP IN SIGHT has developed proprietary lightweight AI-based 3D camera solutions that can precisely extract complex spatial data, including spatial recognition, object detection, and biometric information. These technologies are particularly applicable to real-time battlefield awareness systems and predictive simulation platforms in defense and security sectors.
“This partnership marks a significant step toward technological self-reliance and advancement in national strategic domains through the convergence of AI and quantum technologies,” said Eunsong Oh, CEO of DEEP IN SIGHT. “We are committed to leading the high-precision defense solutions market with our differentiated AI optimization and 3D geospatial technologies.”
Alfred Bang, CEO of Orientom, said, “Quantum technology has tremendous strategic value in the defense and security fields, which is why major countries around the world are investing heavily in it. Through technical cooperation between the two companies, we will produce effective research results and commercialization cases. We will strive to ensure that quantum-based AI technology creates a real turning point in various industrial fields.”
