PRESS RELEASE — Womanium invites all quantum enthusiasts and experts to the second edition of the Global Quantum Program from July 2–28. The virtual summer program will bring scientists, CEOs and industry leaders together to train participants in Quantum Computing, Sensing, Communication and Entrepreneurship and Careers. More than 70 speakers from industry, government and academia will offer virtual lab tours, software bootcamps, hardware lectures, panels, spotlight talks and a career fair.
For 3 hours every day, participants will be trained in key aspects of quantum technologies. Bootcamps on quantum machine learning, quantum error correction, quantum annealing, and quantum simulation equip participants with hands-on software skills, by QWorld, D-Wave, SandboxAQ, Xanadu, Terra Quantum, QMware, qBraid and QuEra. Virtual lab tours, lectures, demos and panels will give in-depth insight in superconducting, photonic, trapped-ion, neutral-atom and silicon-based quantum computers, with experts from Google, IBM, Quantinuum, IonQ, MIT, Princeton, IQM, SEEQC, Zurich Instruments, Maybell Quantum and Atlantic Quantum.
Special themes include Quantum Entrepreneurship, Quantum Key Distribution, and Quantum Sensors for Health, Energy and Space. The Career Fair will jumpstart successful participants into careers at quantum companies worldwide.
Advanced participants will have the opportunity to enroll in paid industry projects through Womanium’s Quantum Solutions Launchpad on a rolling basis. Projects are in the quantum computing, sensing, communication and materials domains. Womanium welcomes new partners that are interested in engaging diverse, trained quantum talent to create quantum solutions for their challenges.
