In an effort to educate and prepare the next generation of quantum workers, IQM Quantum Computers (IQM) has launched a free online quantum training course, “IQM Academy”, that will educate and prepare talent for quantum workforce development.
Students, educators, and enthusiasts interested in quantum computing can learn about the basics through the course.
With its on-premise quantum computers, IQM provides complete access to its hardware to laboratories and supercomputer centers. A Finnish company, IQM is a leader in the field of quantum computers in Europe. IQM has grown to 190+ employees since being founded in 2018 and has established subsidiaries in Munich (Germany), Madrid (Spain) and Paris (France).
Announced in a press release on the 22nd of March, IQM Academy participants do not need any previous quantum computing experience to get started — participants will learn about quantum computing, its algorithms, and applications. In addition to being exploratory, informative, and highly interactive, the modules are also enjoyable.

Seegerer goes on by saying that the company is committed to helping people learn about quantum computing through IQM Academy, as its collection of resources assists those interested learn about and explore the world of quantum computing through its interactive curriculum and resources like cheat sheets, blog posts and challenges.
