Synergy Quantum

At The Quantum Insider, it is our pleasure to highlight the achievements of the big players in the Quantum tech space, but this also reaches to the smaller enterprises making their own, unique mark on an industry which is only set to grow in the 2020s.

Proof of this came just last week when we covered the news that Synergy Quantum, a Geneva, Switzerland-based startup working hard on high-impact industry solutions in quantum information science (QIS), announced it had completed a pre-series A funding round led by a group of Swiss and international investors.

Founded in 2019 by Jay Oberai, 2021 saw Synergy Quantum produce a Post-Quantum Encrypted future-proof closed communication network and filed patents. The startup plans to expand towards the banking industry, Government National Identity Programs, secure microchips, and other sectors.

Highly Talented Team

Jay Oberai, Founder and CEO of Synergy Quantum, put it succinctly on the startup’s direction and the importance of the funding:

“At Synergy Quantum, we are focused on building high impact industry solutions using Quantum Technologies. We are excited with the three recent contracts we have signed with a Swiss Private Bank for a client communication and data protection app, a research and design of a post-quantum encrypted secure chip with a major European Semiconductor company, and the development of quantum satellite communication with the Quantum Mission of the Government of India. We are very encouraged by the trust shown by our investors backing us up in our journey to materialize commercial quantum computing advantage in real-life applications. This is wonderful recognition for our highly talented team.”

With that said, what exactly does Oberai and his talented team — which consists of top executives with consolidated experience in HNWI asset management, cutting edge AI and cybersecurity technologies and international brand development and marketing, supported by talented scientists and engineers hired from CERN, Stanford and The National Institute of Technology (India) — offer in regards to technological innovation in the quantum sphere?

First of all, it is important to stress Synergy Quantum believes its suite of products and services will revolutionize major industries including government, defence, finance, healthcare, smart cities, energy, telecom, Blockchain, AI, and many verticals.

• Post-Quantum Technology

Leading Edge Encryption Technology keeps clients ahead of even the quantum threat. End-to-End post-quantum encrypted data

• Seamless Digital Integration

The world’s first fully integrated, digital command center for all communication and digital storage needs

• Swiss Mountain Data Storage

A serial entrepreneur (founded Synergy Wealth Group in Swiss) and angel investor (e.g., Cambridge Quantum Computing) with over 30 years of experience in private banking and wealth management, Jay Oberai is a former Global Head of Portfolio Advisory at Coutts Private Bank & Head of Investment Advisory at Citi Bank who obtained an MA in Economics and Finance from the University of Cambridge.

Synergy Quantum’s technology assures a world where there are more secure communications, more reliable navigation and timing systems, more accurate healthcare imaging through quantum sensing, and more powerful computing. All these combined give us an optimistic scenario for quantum tech’s future and the future of the startup built by Jay Oberai.
