The quantum industry progressed at a breakneck pace in the first quarter of 2022, as the TQI quarterly report documents.
In the first quarter of 2022, $700 million of new private capital flowing into quantum technology companies. There were 18 newly disclosed private funding rounds.
The report also looks at the Sandbox AQ spinout from Google and the official listing of Rigetti on NASDAQ, among other business news. Research advances include Microsoft Azure Quantum’s work on topological qubits.
