XT-QRNG100 series quantum random number generator developed by XT Quantech has recently passed the authoritative test of China Academy of Information and Communications Technology (CAICT) Thayer Laboratory and obtained the test report issued by CAICT, which is the first batch of miniaturized quantum random number generator products in China to obtain authoritative certification.

Research

Collaboration between Xianmin Jin’s team at Shanghai Jiao Tong University and academician Jiaming Li makes progress in the study of room temperature quantum networks

The team of Xianmin Jin at the School of Physics and Astronomy of Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU) and academician Jiaming Li have achieved the first experimental establishment of predicted quantum entanglement between independent quantum storage nodes based on room-temperature atomic system synthesis. The team innovatively designed a solution to solve the problem of building predictive quantum entanglement between quantum storage nodes in room-temperature atomic systems, which will further promote the development of quantum networks toward more large-scale scalability and practicality.

Shanghai Jiao Tong University proposes a frame synchronization method for free-space continuous-variable quantum key distribution

Researchers at the Quantum Perception and Information Processing Research Center of Shanghai Jiaotong University (SJTU) have analyzed the frame synchronization problem of free-space continuous-variable quantum key distribution and proposed an efficient frame synchronization method. This method is based on the modulation of special data synchronization frames and channel permeability synchronization frames, and it is verified by simulation that the method can achieve nearly perfect synchronization success rate under different signal-to-noise ratio or phase drift.

Original “noiseless photonic echo” quantum storage solution proposed and realized by CSU

The research group of academician Guangcan Guo at the Chinese University of Science and Technology (CSU) has made an original progress in quantum storage and quantum network research. The research group of Chuanfeng Li and Zongquan Zhou proposed and experimentally realized a noiseless photon echo, which reduced the measured noise by 670 times compared with previous results, and for the first time observed a single photon photon echo and thus realized a high-fidelity solid-state quantum storage. This work was completed by the team from proposal, theoretical analysis to experimental implementation, and the scheme was named “Noiseless photon echo” (NLPE) and applied for patent, which is an original quantum storage scheme with independent intellectual property rights.

Research team made a major breakthrough in the study of high-temperature superconductivity mechanism

The research team of Associate Professor Ding Zhang and Professor Qikun Xue from the Department of Physics of Tsinghua University, in collaboration with colleagues from home and abroad, has found that s-wave pairing dominates in copper oxides by preparing high-quality Josephson junctions with atomically flat interfaces. This result overturns the mainstream understanding that copper-based high-temperature superconductivity is d-wave paired. This work is not only a significant progress in the study of high-temperature superconductivity in copper oxides, but also points to the right direction for solving the scientific problem of high-temperature superconductivity mechanism.
