PRESS RELEASE — Zurich Instruments is pleased to support Photonic Inc. as a provider of quantum instrumentation. Photonic Inc. is using Zurich Instruments’ Quantum Computing Control System (QCCS) as they develop pioneering quantum technology.

Zurich Instruments’ QCCS offers high-quality signal generation with exceptional phase coherence, enabling the highest fidelities for long-lived qubits. The QCCS provides flexibility in control and interfacing, enabling research on new technologies and, at the same time, proven scalability. Zurich Instruments’ quantum control solutions are produced in Switzerland and supported with the deep scientific expertise of teams around the world.

Photonic is building large-scale, fault-tolerant, distributed quantum computers. Their unique architecture combines the manufacturability, scalability, and controllability of spin qubits in silicon with a native telecom interface for each qubit, providing the on-chip and off-chip connectivity needed for high efficiency quantum error correction. This approach enables quantum systems to scale both vertically and horizontally, providing the foundational building blocks for distributed, fault-tolerant quantum computing.

“Zurich Instruments understands that the quantum field is fast-moving, and customers require timely responses and in-depth application expertise, in addition to excellent instrument performance, to keep their progress on track. Our Boston area office allows us to provide the highest level of professional service to our customers in North America, including Photonic Inc.,” says Vikrant Mahajan, President of Zurich Instruments USA, Inc.
