The partnership of Phoenix Technologies and QAI Ventures is leveraged even further by the presence of the AI Innovation Center at the Switzerland Innovation Park Basel Area and uptownBasel. This unique constellation of locations, technologies, funds, and global networks enables a thriving ecosystem and unrivaled networking effects within the Basel region, driving innovation specifically about AI use cases, but also about quantum computing and by doing so, shaping future innovation.

Earlier this year, Phoenix Technologies announced its strategic partnership with IBM, offering a sovereign AI solution based on IBM watsonx and state-of-the-art AI infrastructure for the first time in Switzerland. This first-of-its-kind approach allows businesses and research institutions to leverage a sovereign AI infrastructure and AI-embedded solutions. The complete end-to-end AI offering, based on state-of-the-art AI-centric computing capabilities, fosters AI foundation model development and research, expanding the global competitiveness of Switzerland.
