Economist Impact Commercialising Quantum US Conference 2023: Promising to “Inform, Inspire & Educate”

Commercialising Quantum US

One of the most eagerly awaited quantum events of the calendar year takes place this month at the JW Marriott Marquis, San Francisco. Economist Impact is organizing the Commercialising Quantum US conference, taking place on March 23–24, 2023. This two-day quantum computing conference (first day in-person, second virtual) will cover the promise, the perils, the applications, the limitations, the hype, and the reality of quantum.

Back after last year’s event in London, UK, Commercialising Quantum US 2023 is the place to be for senior business leaders wanting to understand how quantum technology can help their businesses grow.

With proceedings led by editors from The Economist, the Commercialising Quantum US event guarantees an agenda packed full of interesting keynote speeches, fireside chats and panel discussions on topics ranging from building a diverse quantum workforce to advancing automotive industry use cases for quantum technology.

Speakers

But, the key to any event is always the people invited to speak, and the Economist Impact team has pulled out all the stops to get the cream of the quantum industry at the event.

Dr. Stephanie Simmons, Co-chair of the Canadian National Quantum Strategy Advisory Council and founder and CEO of quantum startup Photonic, will discuss how we can work together to advance quantum for the benefit of humanity.

Whurley, founder and chief executive of Strangeworks, will give his view on whether or not quantum investment should be considered a business priority.

Chief executive at SandboxAQ Jack Hidary’s brain will be picked on the global quantum divide in a fireside chat that promises to give those in attendance some food for thought.

17-year-old Chilean student Elisa Torres Durney, founder of Girls in Quantum, will give a presentation on what role girls are playing in the quantum computing revolution.

These are just a select few of the speakers taking part over the two days.

Can’t make the event in San Francisco?

The second Economist Impact quantum computing event of the year, Commercialising Quantum UK, takes place on May 17–18, 2023 in London, UK. Like San Francisco, it will be both a virtual and in-person event.
