China National Intellectual Property Administration research at Origin Quantum and QASKY

On 29 July, relevant departments of China National Intellectual Property Administration (CNIPA) visited Origin Quantum to conduct research on the research and development of quantum computing and the protection of intellectual property rights, and they also visited QASKY to conduct the research and development of quantum communication and the protection of intellectual property rights.

“Demonstration Platform of Quantum Experiment Center of Bose Quantum-Putian Electronic City Incubator” was officially inaugurated

The “Bose Quantum-Putian Electronic City Incubator Quantum Experiment Center Demonstration Platform” (hereinafter referred to as “Quantum Experiment Center”) was officially inaugurated, which is an important achievement of Bose Quantum after two rounds of financing and the first Quantum Experiment Center in Chaoyang District, Beijing. It is also the first Quantum Experiment Centre in Chaoyang District, Beijing. The Quantum Experiment Centre is a market-oriented, enterprise-focused centre that focuses on the development of core technical talent.

QuantumCTek joins hands with Unigroup Cloud Engine and Zhongke KunHao to explore the quantum industrial internet

QuantumCTek has entered into a strategic cooperation with Unigroup Cloud Engine Technology Co Ltd and Anhui Zhongke KunHao Quantum Industrial Internet Co Ltd. The three parties will jointly explore the construction of a quantum information industrial internet platform in the fields of quantum information, industrial digitisation and digital industrialisation. The integration of quantum information technology and industrial internet technology can provide more application scenarios and security guarantees for enterprises, and is also conducive to further cultivating the quantum technology industrial ecology.



University of Science and Technology of China achieves high-precision non-visual imaging

Professor Pan Jianwei, Zhang Qiang and Xu Feihu of the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC), in collaboration with the Jinan Institute of Quantum Technology, have experimentally achieved millimetre-level non-visual 3D imaging using frequency upconversion single photon detection, the highest accuracy for non-visual imaging available, opening up a new path for the practical development of the technology.

Xiamen University scholar theoretically constructs a new density matrix

Professor Chen Rui, Department of Physics, School of Physical Science and Technology, Xiamen University, has theoretically constructed a new density matrix to describe the two-photon state of a classical thermal light source in the Hilbert space of the angular momentum of the photon orbit, thus explicitly revealing the quantum correlation properties of the classical thermal light source using the quantum disassociation metric, and demonstrating that the two-photon orbit angular momentum state of the thermal light source can be combined with a quantum invisible transfer protocol to achieve transmission of an optical image. This work provides new perspectives and ideas to promote the potential applications of classical light sources in quantum information technology.

New advances in photonic devices with high chirality spin transport

Researchers at the Laboratory of Photophysics, Institute of Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences/Beijing National Research Centre for Condensed Matter Physics, have made important advances in the study of chiral photonic devices. They have designed and prepared compact chiral photonic devices for achieving deterministic circularly polarised light directional routing and beam splitting functions, integrated quantum dots as quantum light sources, and observed the directional emission and beam splitting of circularly polarised photons, obtaining a chiral contrast as high as 0.84.

The “2021 Quantum Information Technology Conference”, organized by the Chinese Institute of Electronics (CIE) and the Quantum Information Branch of the Chinese Institute of Electronics, will be held in Jiaxing City, Zhejiang Province, on September 24, 2021. The conference is divided into “Quantum Computing and Simulation Technology Session”, “Quantum Communication Technology Session”, “Quantum Measurement Session”, “Quantum Devices”, “Quantum Information System Technology”, “Quantum Optics and Quantum Technology Fundamentals” and “Quantum Information Key Support Technology and Equipment “.
