Germany is one of the countries using a number of tools — including global partnerships — to jumpstart a quantum ecosystem within its border.

Maybe it’s the way we refer to “ecosystems” that make it sound that quantum research hubs are created organically and spontaneously. Quantum ecosystems do not germinate out of the floors of research labs, they are complex, expensive communities that need to be planned, led — and invested (heavily) in.
