    Sparrow Quantum develops and commercialize single-photon sources based on GaAs chips operating at cryogenic conditions. The unique and patented technology is the result of many years of cutting-edge research in the Hy-Q group headed by Peter Lodahl at the renowned Niels Bohr Institute in Copenhagen.

    3 open positions in photonics engineering

    To continue our growth, we have 3 open positions targeting development in areas like:

    Single-Photon system optimization and characterization including automation of complex optical set-ups
    Demonstration of single-photon applications in e.g. quantum communication and sensing
    Single Photon chip design, optimization, processing, and characterization

    The preferred applicants will have a Master or PhD in physics, engineering or a related field and will have relevant experience in several of the areas listed below:

    1. Hands-on optical lab experience, preferably with lasers and free-space optical alignment.

    2. Experience with optical cryostats

    3. Python / Matlab programming for automation and data analysis

    4. Optical waveguide/chip design, simulation and processing

    5. Experience in photonic quantum components and systems
